Shop Your Stash

Hello Lovelies,

Here is my first post on 'Shop Your Stash'.

This challenge was created by Hollie from Pretty Big Butterflies. She says:

' Welcome to the Shop Your Stash Challenge. This is all about a gem in what you already own a creating a blog post on it. This is to let go a little of the stress that comes with being a blogger- even if it is just once a month. Rummage through your beauty products, climb through those clothes drawers. You might surprise yourself!'

I love a good blog challenge and I think Hollie has hit the nail right on the head! I have so many things I want to share with you all but feel like I can't keep up because of the constant change in trends and fashion. I have decided to do a beauty(ish) post as I haven't really done many on my blog and this is something I have recently become more and more interested in.

I discovered Sanctuary Spa products a few years ago and to me they are a luxury that I buy for myself around Christmas!

I bought this in January and I LOVE it SOOOOO much!! I use it after a shower as I am a clean freak that has to have a shower first before she uses a body scrub.. Don't hate!

Moving on... after using this my skin feels so smooth (probably because it has peeled off about a thousand layers) and moisturised. It is the best body scrub I have ever used and is smells amazing.

I bought mine in Boots and it was on offer at the time, but with an £11.50 price tag I don't think it is too steep. I also think it is currently in their 3 for 2 offer.

This is what it looks like inside and I will be using the jar after I have finished with the scrub as it is so nice!

Please check out the other ladies that are taking part!!

Much Love,

I Feel Good!

Hello Lovelies,

Here is my photo for this months 'I Feel Good' Challenge!

I never really take selfies *shudder* because they make me uncomfortable but I am trying to step out of my comfort zone so here is my second proper one!

I hope it is more pleasing to your eyes than mine.

Have a look at the other beauties taking part!

Much love,

Sister Vintage Round 2

Hello Beautiful People!!

First of all, I am sorry I have been away!! I have been busy with job hunting and my blog has taken a bit of a hit (sad face) but I am  back now and here with another post for you all. I also have some different ones coming up over the next few weeks as well! YAY! Excitement!!

Moving on...

I had another browse through Sister Vintage a while ago as I was very happy with my first order. I can't say I am so much with my second one though. The parcel wasn't packaged as lovingly as the one before but maybe that's me nitpicking.

I think I should stay away from ordering their mystery package. I have afro hair, so the hair accessories they gave me from the mystery bag won't really work for me but anyone else who might want them. Let me know!
My cousin came round the other day and took the POW! necklace. It wasn't really my style to be honest.

I do, however, love this statement necklace!

 And this one!

 And these elephant earrings!

Just to let you know, I bought all these myself. Sister Vintage is great for very affordable jewellery and the majority I would say is really nice. Their stock is always updated too.

I was also thinking of doing a give away on my 50th post. YAY or NAY?

Much Love,

Oo La La!

Hello Lovelies!

I couldn't think of a better title! Sorry not sorry. HAHA!!

I was recently contacted by La Redoute to take part in a competition to Win a trip to Paris (the fashion capital of the world) and also become one of their ambassadors as well.

This was very exciting news to me! I love Paris and I cannot believe they have asked me to compete! Thank you La Redoute for this opportunity!

They also have something for you lovely people to check out too! It's their Secrets to French style but I'm sharing it specially with all of you. You don't have to thank me. Hehehe!!

All that is left for me to do is share a style tip with you.

Before I began writing this blog, many of my friends would say, my sense of style was a bit off. Personally, I think I just wanted to wear what I thought was comfortable and affordable. Now I have seen the error of my ways!

My style tip would be to experiment with everything! Whether it be colour, shape or cut! Clothes suit every body, it just depends on how you choose to style them.

These are a few outfits that I have experimented with, that before I would never ever dreamed of buying. This was purely because I thought I was too large to wear these sort of prints or colours. What I have learnt now is that you are never 'too' anything to wear the clothes that you like!

The Tie Die Maxi and The Floral Print Stripes

The Floral Smock and The Neon Pink Midi

The Landscape Print Midi and The Red Cut-Out
The Floral Prom Dress and The Yellow Tunic

I would just like to say thank you to the wonderful plus size bloggers that have inspired me to really step out of my comfort zone and also to all the people supporting me on my blog journey!

Love you all!!
